It's really happening, you guys—the RIHnaissance is coming. First, Rihanna released "FourFive Seconds," and now—OMG—she's on the cover of i-D Magazine's "Music Issue." You don't land a cover dedicated to music unless, y'know, music is on the way, right??

The cover features a fairly close-up shot of Rih, wearing minimal makeup, braids, and a Céline top. While badgal tends to prefer red lipsticks IRL, here she's wearing a darkly lined lip, which accentuates how dramatic her cupid's bow is. There is an entire underbelly of the internet dedicated to Rihanna's cupid's bow, BTW. I just discovered some message boards today and now I'll probably dedicate the rest of my life to 'em, YOLO.

i-D's Fashion Director, Alastair McKimm worked with Rih on the cover and #confirmed what we've always known—Rihanna is the best. He says, "The energy and enthusiasm she brings is intense. She's the ultimate icon of our time." #ICONIC

No word yet on when the issue will drop, but considering how long it's been since there's been a Rihanna editorial in our lives, you can guarantee we'll cop it the second it's out.
