Saoirse Ronan Says Ryan Gosling Is Terrible At Email: Watch

Maybe he's better at writing letters... in his notebook.

Saorsie Ronan may be riding high based on the great reviews for her new movie "Brooklyn," which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival this week, but the critically acclaimed Irish actress still has to deal with some rejection in her life... from Ryan Gosling. Specifically, from Ryan Gosling's email account.

MTV News asked Ronan at Sundance if her Gosling-directed film, "Lost River," would hit U.S. audiences anytime soon, and Ronan admitted that getting news about the film is tough -- because staying in touch with Gosling can be trickier than one might think.

"Well I only heard the other day, from 'The Gos,'" she said. "I have his email. He never emails anyone back. He's so bad at emailing back, but he did email me the other day. I felt really lucky to receive his words."

Way harsh, Tai. But all joking aside, Ronan did confirm that "River" -- which was Gosling's directorial debut -- would be distributed in the U.S. soon, after premiering at the Cannes Film Festival last May.

"He's very excited about it," Ronan added. "I don't think I can say anything about it yet, but people will get to see it sooner rather than later. And the poster is really cool for it. Go and see it for the poster alone."
