The Florida Zombie Cat Underwent Surgery, And He's Gonna Be OK: See The Pics

Bart's surgery was a success.

Bart the Miracle Cat a.k.a the Zombie Cat is earth's mightiest kitty, and someone should probably make a movie on one of his nine lives.

After the Florida feline was hit by a car and presumed dead, he was buried by his owner, only to dig himself out of his grave five days later. When Bart showed up in a neighbor's yard alive, he had a mangled zombie-like face, a broken jaw and a damaged eye. Things looked grim, but the Humane Society of Tampa Bay contacted MTV News after a scheduled surgery on Tuesday to confirm that Bart is on the road to recovery.

"He is being monitored overnight so that we can make sure he is comfortable and pain-free. He’ll have about a week of recovery before he can go home," a Humane Society rep told us.
