Insanely Lucky Man Wins $10 Million Because He Needed Change For A Sandwich

This guy's choice of lunch changed his life big-time.

Donald Trump made his millions as a real estate investor. Diddy made his with a slew of entrepreneurial ventures. And a Massachusetts man named Richard Noll made his fortune by deciding to get a sandwich one day.

One fine day, the Revere, Massachusetts, man cruised into Lanzilli’s Grocery in East Boston because he wanted to break a $100 bill to buy a sandwich for lunch. He browsed around for a couple cheap things and settled on buying two scratch “Platinum Millions” tickets.

The money gods were clearly smiling down upon Noll because he ended up winning a whopping $10 million prize.

According to the Massachusetts lottery, the odds of getting a $10 million “Platinum Millions” winner are one in 5,040,000, so let that sink in.

Noll and his wife claimed the prize earlier this week and settled for a one-time payment of $6.5 million after all those pesky taxes are taken out.

The newly minted millionaire said he plans on buying a house, making some investments, and taking his granddaughter to Disney World (aww!). And we’re guessing he’ll be able to buy as many sandwiches as his heart desires.
