Being sick sucks at any point in the year, but extra when you happen to fall ill on or around your birthday. Poor Mac Miller got very unlucky and managed to catch pneumonia when he should've still been celebrating his 23rd born day (which was Jan. 19).

He broke the news on Twitter, with an alarming all-caps message and then shared an Instagram photo of himself in quarantine.

According to his hashtag, he's #kindafreakingout -- and you can't blame him. Although, Cam'ron's face masks might be a better choice if he's still trying to look fly while fighting off a serious illness.

Get well soon Mac! In the meantime, binge-watching a new show is a good idea. He was asking for reviews on the new series "Empire," but there aren't enough episodes of that to get him through pneumonia.
