Jennifer Lawrence Plans Her Days Around Reruns Of 'The Hills'
With an Oscar for her role in "Silver Linings Playbook" and a Golden Globe to honor her "American Hustle" effort, Jennifer Lawrence has proven to be an awards season darling, but no trophy could never eclipse her most important distinction: a card-carrying membership in "The Hills" superfan club.
During a chat with recent Golden Globe winner Eddie Redmayne in the newest issue of Interview, J-Law and her talented pal found themselves on a reality TV tangent, and, since all roads lead to Rome, both finally came out as fans of Lauren Conrad and her early-aughts Hollywood drama.
"MTV sometimes plays ["Hills" reruns] for, like, three hours, and that will just turn into my morning," Lawrence said. "Like, I'll cancel sh**." That, ladies and gents, is the LC-effect.
And though the show's been over for a few years now, Redmayne explained the ladies are still on his mind, and that sometimes, he finds himself hoping that they're doing OK these days.
"Occasionally, Audrina [Patridge] or Whitney [Port] will be on a website that I shouldn't be looking at, and I'm like, 'You know, I just want to check that they're doing all right, because it's my youth,'" he admitted. "And the depressing thing is that it's not my youth. I was too old to be watching those programs when I was watching them." It takes all types, Redmayne. It takes all types.
