While we've already discussed the best dressed ladies at the Golden Globes and various after-parties, we can't overlook how #covermoment worthy the beauty game was last night. A number of our faves brought their smoky eye A-game with them, and we are here to pay our respects.

Cara Delevingne

While it's normally the area about an inch above Cara Delevingne's eyes that gets all the attention, last night we couldn't stop looking at her copper-y smoky eye. The shimmery brown shade really—I mean, really—brings out her blue-gray eyes and, um, we need to try it immediately.

Hailee Steinfeld

BB girl Hailee Steinfeld paired her Stella McCartney dress with a classic smoky eye and—hi—can we please get a tutorial on your lashes, H? They look like tiny, beautiful fans and we want 'em. Bad.

Allison Williams

While it was hard to look at anything but Allison Williams' stunning Armani Prive gown, her sparkly silver eye definitely caught our attention. Like Cara, Allison's strong smoky makeup plays up her blue eyes, which leads us to believe that if you have blue eyes, knowing how to create a smoky eye for yourself is essential.

Selena Gomez

Selena Gomez managed to pull off a smoky cat eye, which, duh—she can pull off anything, TBH. Like Hailee, Selena went for a matte ~lewk~, instead of a sparkly one and, man, does it work for her, especially with her rose lips.
