We were promised a Bill Cosby riff, and we got one. An unapologetic and dirty one at that.

During their opening monologue at the 2015 Golden Globes, co-hosts Tina Fey and Amy Poehler took turns tooling some of their SNL mimicry mastery to the tune of Bill Cosby, the long-famous comedian and television personality who has recently fallen from grace due to several accusations of sexual abuse.

Referring to "Into the Woods," Poehler panned, "Sleeping Beauty just thought she was getting coffee with Bill Cosby."

And, well, the audience wasn't sure quite how to react.

Would you just look at Jessica Chastain's face.

Fey piped in with, "Actually, I don't know if you guys saw this on the news today, but Bill Cosby has finally spoken out about the allegations against him. Cosby admitted to a reporter, 'I put the pills in the people. The people did not want the pills in them.'"

Poehler then acted like she might be putting a stop to the run on such a touchy subject, saying "that's not right," but instead she gave us her own rendition of the impression.

Some people weren't so amused.

Womp womp.

But like it or not, they went there. And it was definitely not too soon.

Also? Somebody get some cream 'cause that burrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrned.
