It's official: Benedict Cumberbatch is going to be Cumber-dad to a Cumber-baby. Call it a Cumber-bundle of joy, if you'd like.

In human terms: "Imitation Game" actor Benedict Cumberbatch and fiancee Sophie Hunter are expecting their first child together, the actor's reps told US Weekly.

"I am delighted to confirm that Benedict Cumberbatch and Sophie Hunter are expecting their first child," the rep said. "They are both over the moon."

The duo announced their engagement in early November by way of a good old-fashioned newspaper announcement.

We haven't yet heard news of a date for the wedding or the baby -- Cumberbatch is too busy filming "Sherlock" at the mo to shift his attentions to wedding planning. (Yes, seriously, that's what he said.)

However, it doesn't take a super-sleuth to know that "Sherlock" or no, the baby will come on its own schedule.

Congratulations to the couple, and welcome, readers, to the greatest mystery of all: what will Cumberbatch name his Cumberbaby? Fingers crossed for something even more British than "Benedict."
