Vanessa and Nick Lachey have welcomed the new year with a brand-new baby.

The proud parents announced on Vanessa's blog Tuesday (Jan. 6) that they welcomed their second child on January 5, a "beautiful baby girl, Brooklyn Elisabeth Lachey!"

Little baby Brooklyn, who joins big brother Camden, 2, was born at 5:17 p.m. on Monday and weighed in at 7 lbs., 15 oz. and has already "won over all of our hearts."

"I have been dreaming of this moment for as long as I can remember, the day I was going to meet my little girl," Vanessa wrote. "A friend recently told me how magical today was going to be because it’s the day I would meet my best friend. I can’t even begin to tell you how it felt to hold her in my arms for the very first time. Mommy, Daddy and big brother Cam love you so much already, Brooklyn!"

Just last month, Vanessa shared her Christmas card for everyone, which showed her puckering up to give her son a kiss as Nick kissed her very pregnant belly.

"This photo was taken on Camden’s birthday and it’s my favorite picture of all four of us… at least, so far!" she wrote.

The "Big Morning Buzz Live" host announced that they were expanding their family back in July on his third wedding anniversary to Vanessa. Congrats to the happy family!
