Jessica Simpson is ringing in the new year with some quality family time.

The mother of two hit the beach with her "blue-eyed soulmates," her adorable two-and-a-half-year-old daughter Maxwell Drew and her husband, Eric Johnson, to have some fun in the sun.

Jessica took to Instagram to let her fans in on her family outing, posting a photo of her daughter running barefoot on the beach wearing a sweater and pants, captioning the photo, "my ray of light."

It appears that Jessica's daughter, who looks just like her mom, loved the ocean so much that she decided to take a January dip, not letting the cold water bother her at all, prompting her proud mom to call her "#FEARLESS."
