So, Are Miley Cyrus And Madonna Collaborating Or What?

Their Instagram back and forth hints at a Rebel Heart team-up.

Look, Miley Cyrus and Madonna.

I don't have a lot of time to waste with small talk. I'm really busy. I'm moving to a new apartment in a few days. Plus, I just started watching "True Detective" for the first time, like, three hours ago, and I'd like to finish it before I go out on New Year's Eve.

The point is: Are you collaborating together or not?

Your Instagram back and forth over the past couple of days seems to indicate that you might be. ("Seems to," "might be" -- get into my ambiguity.) At the risk of sounding like a YouTube conspiracy theorist, the signs are all there.

Madonna, you've Instagrammed not one but four Cyrus visuals since December 28. And Miley, you even re-posted the edit that 'shopped you into Madge's iconic VMA kiss with Britney Spears.

Back in September, Madonna and Nicki Minaj 'grammed the sh-t out of a studio visit, with some variation of the hashtag "#BitchImMadonna" in every pic's caption. Three months later, the pop queen released six new songs off of her 13th studio album, Rebel Heart -- one of which is "Bitch I'm Madonna" featuring Onika herself.

What I'm saying is that Madonna could be pulling a similar kind of social media teaser with all these Miley posts. The titles to 12 of Rebel Heart's tracks have yet to be revealed. Is it that crazy to think that one of those 12 might include a Cyrus feature?

Maybe it is. In which case, I'll resume my "True Detective" marathon and leave you two alone now.
