Bobby Shmurda's last tweets show that he was expecting to perform at a secret show on Wednesday night, but instead the Brooklyn rapper is in police custody with his bail set at $2 million.

Shmurda and members of his GS9 crew were arrested outside of Quad Studios near Times Square in New York yesterday and they were arraigned on Thursday (Dec. 18).

According to the Associated Press, the Brooklyn rapper, born Ackquille Pollard, was arrested for conspiracy, reckless endangerment, and gun possession -- with two guns and a small bag of crack cocaine found inside the car he was riding in.

The indictment includes more than 15 members of the GS9 crew and they're now facing charges that include murder and attempted murder, in addition to assault and drug trafficking. Twenty-one guns were seized during the course of the NYPD's long-term investigation, including the 10 pieces that were found during Wednesday's arrest.

The police are claiming that the Brooklyn-based crew are responsible for multiple shootings, one of which was fatal. The evidence allegedly includes recorded phone calls between the rapper and gang members who are currently incarcerated at Rikers Island, where they spoke in code about weapons and narcotics.

Shmurda himself, is also placed at the scene of two shootings, one between rival gangs outside of a Brooklyn courthouse and another outside of a barber shop, where he allegedly fired into a crowd of people.

According to ABC News reporter Daria Miles, Shmurda's label, Epic Records, has agreed to pay his $2 million bail.

He signed with the label back in July, off the strength of his breakout hit "Hot N---a," which spawned the "Shmoney Dance" craze.

Shmurda's lawyer, Howard Greenberg, denied his client's involvement in the crimes, telling AP, "Does it make sense that he would resort to committing crimes when he has the world in the palm of his hand? It's ridiculous."
