Last night, Rihanna held the first annual Diamond Ball and looked totally, 100% incredible in two different looks. When I saw these photos I actually said—aloud, to myself—"Is Rihanna even real?!" Like, Badgal slaying on the red carpet is nothing new, but this is other-worldly. She is a goddess.

For the red carpet, Rih wore a fitted, rose Fall 2014 Zac Posen gown. She accessorized—perfectly, I might add—with a diamond (heh) and ruby choker from Chopard. She wore a dark red lip, subtle cat eye liner, and a sleek ponytail. But—oh!—there's more to the ponytail than you may realize.

It's gray! No, she's not graying—she's just returned to her short-lived hue of 2013. It's gray ombre—or grambre, as I'm coining it—so the lighter shade is not immediately obvious, but it's definitely there. Welcome back, old pal.

For her performance, Rih changed up everything but the ponytail—she swapped her dark red lip for a bright one, her choker for a gold necklace, and, most notably, her pink dress for a navy (#NAVY!!) gown, also by Zac Posen.

Perhaps most notable about the entire performance—besides the gown, of course—was that she conducted an orchestral version of "Pour It Up." She may be wearing a fancy gown, but she's the same badgalriri 4eva.
