Kendrick Lamar Will Be One Of The Final Guests On 'The Colbert Report'

So long, Colbert Nation!

Stephen Colbert is ending the “The Colbert Report" with a bang.

To celebrate the final week of his long-running show before he takes over David Letterman’s slot as the host of the "The Late Show," Colbert has lined up some blockbuster guests the final four shows.

The first of the last four of the Comedy Central shows airs on Monday (December 15) and according to the New York Times’ culture reporter David Itzkoff, one of those special guests is Kendrick Lamar.

The “i” rapper will make his appearance at the satirical host’s desk on Tuesday, while Seth Rogen, who will likely promote his new movie, “The Interview,” will be on the program Monday. Rounding out the guest list are Phil Klay and “Stephen’s friend Grimmy,” who will be the closer for the final show on December 18.

Colbert will retire his sardonic right-wing pundit character when he signs off from his show, which started in 2005, to prepare to take over “The Late Show” when Letterman serves up his final monologue in 2015.
