Is Lil Wayne's Latest Tweet Another Shot At Cash Money?

It's definitely Young Mula, baby.

We're still waiting to see how the Lil Wayne vs. Birdman and Cash Money saga plays out, but we may have just gotten a clue about Weezy's plans.

"YM! That's it," he tweeted on Thursday (Dec. 11). "Nothing else."

It's unclear exactly what that means, but three letters that are often included next to the "YM" -- "CMB" -- are notably absent. It seems like Tunechi is sticking to his guns and distancing himself from his longtime label, Cash Money. There's also a chance he's addressing Pusha T's recent "#cometoGOODMUSIC" tweets.

Young Money was founded by the rapper back in 2005 as an imprint of Cash Money and Universal. He's built it up to be a powerhouse in its own right since then, signing soon-to-be stars like Drake, Nicki Minaj, and Tyga, whom he's still pledging allegiance to it seems.

Problems between Wayne and Baby first became public last week, when the rapper tweeted, "To all my fans, I want u to know that my album won't and hasn't been released bekuz Baby & Cash Money Rec. refuse to release it."

"This is not my fault," he continued. "I am truly and deeply sorry to all my fans but most of all to myself and my family for putting us in this situation. I want off this label and nothing to do with these people but unfortunately it ain't that easy."

During a concert Friday, he promised fans, “I will be out of [my deal] soon and I do it for y'all.”

Weezy's Tha Carter V was initially due this week, but has been delayed with no new timetable or release date.
