We all love the "Lord of the Rings" trilogy, but during a busy holiday season, sometimes there just aren't enough hours in the day to watch the whole extra-long, extended edition cinematic saga of Frodo and the ring.

Fortunately, the good people at digg have distilled the films down to this seven-minute supercut of only the deaths in the movies, which is basically 99% orcs being shot in the face with arrows (which, let's be honest, is the best part of the trilogy anyway.) There's also a running tally at the bottom of the screen that ratchets up with every stabbing, shooting, or lopping-off of someone's head, which means that maybe now Gimli and Legolas can finally resolve their longstanding conflict over who piled up the bigger body count.
