Guy Sexts Wrong Number, Other Dude Pranks Him Into Drawing Animals
It's always slightly mortifying when Great Moments In Failed Sexting make their way into the public realm, because we all have that ingrained fear about our own messages leaking and getting laughed at. But, c'mon, sometimes the horndogs in these stories are just ridiculous.
That's the case with a text exchange shared at Death and Taxes. Editor Joe Veix was contacted by a certain "Dre," who thought he was communicating with a girl he'd just met.
Rather than just tell Dre it was the wrong number, Joe decided to have some fun with it: A madcap plan to see whether Dre would get his Bob Ross on in exchange for "sexy pics." And, astonishingly, Dre appears to be that desperate...
After three sketches, including the cat, the bird and a bear, Dre was increasingly antsy -- but Joe was still able to get him to go back and make a revision to one of them before churning out a fourth drawing. Then, finally, Dre thought he'd completed the troll's task and would be granted access across the bridge. That's when Joe broke the news:
Dre handled the reveal pretty well! One of the commenters suggested that Joe faked the whole thing, but he's sticking by the story: "Note also the difference in image quality between his images and my own. This definitely happened, though I understand your disbelief, as I'm still baffled by the whole thing."
