This Bald Cinderella And 5-Year-Old Cancer Patient Will Break Your Heart

Grab your tissues.

So what do you want to be when you grow up?

When you’re five years old, the list often begins and ends with “Princess.”

Isabella Harvey, who is battling leukemia for the second time (her first bout with cancer was at age 3), got the surprise of a lifetime when her mother surprised her with a special photo shoot with none other than her favorite Disney princess, Cinderella.

But this was no ordinary Cinderella. This gown-wearing beauty was bald -- just like Isabella, who lost her hair to her battles with the disease and had to have a plate inserted into her head as a result of her treatment.

"Now that she’s 5, she’s insecure about losing her hair," Isabella's mother, Pina, told BuzzFeed. "It’s hard for her. She always wears a hat and never takes it off in public.”

Pina lifted her daughter’s spirits by contacting Gianna Nicole’s Heart of Hope, a charity based in Staten Island, NY devoted to helping pediatric cancer patients and their families.

As it tuns out, Isabella was more than happy to swap those hats for a crown.

A photo shoot of Isabella wearing her favorite princess outfits was arranged, with one special surprise: an adult Cinderella (actress Chelsea Knutson) wearing a bald cap came along to pose with Isabella.

"When Isabella arrived, she did not want to take her hat off for the photos until she saw our special bald Cinderella," Alana Hubbard, the photographer contacted by Heart of Hope to do the shoot, told Woman's Day. Her reaction was so emotional and so happy. She took off her hat immediately and said, 'Wow! She looks just like me!' And in a split moment, she transformed from an insecure and shy little girl into a confident and ecstatic princess."

Now that’s what we call magic!
