Charli XCX Gets Candid Behind The Scenes Of Her Badass 'Nylon' Magazine Cover
To say "Charli XCX is cool" would be like saying the sky is blue, bananas are yellow, or that Rihanna has the most incredible Instagram account in history—it's an indisputable fact. Luckily, Nylon magazine agrees, and decided to put the "Break the Rules" pop star and all-around badass diva extraordinaire on their latest cover. Wise choice, Nylon. Wise choice. As an added bonus the mag just released a video of everything that went down behind-the-scenes at Charli's glam cover shoot at L.A.'s legendary Pink Motel, and she gets super candid about, well, everything.
“The clothes have been really cool," she spilled. "It’s kind of more luxe, like, I’ve never worn Louboutins before today. I can’t really walk in heels because I’m basically a boy, so.”
The fact that Charli's willing to let us all in on the popping of her Louboutin cherry pretty much solidifies her position as my new best friend.
Charli also opened up about where she draws inspiration for her drop-dead gorgeous style.
"My biggest fashion influences are lots of my favorite movies, like Ladies And Gentlemen, The Fabulous Stains, and The Craft, also '90s Mariah. I think 90s Mariah Carey is ‘the one’ for fashion."
Well, I think we can all agree that if anyone's nailing that Mariah Carey '90s vibe right now, it's Charli.
