Tinashé Adds Jeezy's Trap Flavor To 'Pretend' Remix: Listen

Tinashé's "Pretend" was already a hit with A$AP Rocky in tow, but with Jeezy on the new remix, which dropped Monday, the semi-emo single's got a whole new southern flavor.

The Aquarius singer’s contribution about going through the motions with her boyfriend remains the same on this version, while the Snowman drops by to sprinkle his own brand of Trap seasoning in the Detail-produced track.

“Gangster and a gentlemen, the best of both worlds/ Plus, I’m handsome and I’m wealthy, I can leave with all the girls/ Pipe game crazy, I coulda been a plumber/ Self-made boss, yeah I used to be a runner,” he raps.

The Los Angeles native previously released a picturesque music video for the song, which featured her longing for her original collaborator over her beau.

Tinashé, which means “God is with us” in her father’s Shona (Zimbabwe) language, released her debut LP last month and plans to kick off the U.S. leg of her “Aquarius” tour on December 5.
