Find Out Where You Can See The 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' Trailer

Go see it on the big screen.

Update #2: A full, official list of theaters playing the teaser has gone up over at StarWars.com.

Update #1: Not long after Regal pulled down their theater list, director J.J. Abrams tweeted out this card, with teaser length info.

Looks like the rumors were true. The first teaser for "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" drops this week, and we know where you'll be able to see it in theaters.

Regal announced (h/t Screen Crush) the eight locations that will play the trailer before every single showing this weekend (November 28 - November 30).

Edwards Irvine Spectrum 22 & IMAX

San Diego, CA

Edwards Mira Mesa Stadium 18 IMAX & RPX

Atlanta, GA

Chicago, IL

Knoxville, TN

As of now, Regal is the only chain that has announced plans to show the teaser, but I expect other chains to follow with location lists of their own.

There's no word yet on when an online debut might happen, but I'm definitely tempted to hold out save my first viewing for the big screen.

"Star Wars: The Force Awakens" opens in theaters on December 18, 2015.
