One Of The Iconic 'Wizard Of Oz' Costumes Is Going Up For Auction At An Impossible Price

Now's your chance to own original duds from 'The Wizard of Oz.'

If you've got a nice stack of cash handy and an avid interest in the "Wizard Of Oz" then this is the deal for you!

Bert Lahr's original Cowardly Lion costume from 1939's "The Wizard of Oz" is up for auction and if you've got at least a spare million or two burning a hole in your pocket. Now's the time to take a financial investment leap, if you've got the nerve.

Ending on Monday, Bonhams Auction House in New York City is selling off of several pieces of cinematic history as a part of "TCM Presents: There's No Place Like Hollywood," which has quite a selection of iconic items such as Sam's piano from "Casablanca," Clark Gable's riding jacket from "Gone With the Wind," and more.

The Cowardly Lion costume, however, comes from the private collection of memorabilia obsessive James Comisar, who hopes the sale of the costume will help to fund an exhibition of all his TV and movie-centric wares in the future.

So now's your chance to be the king of your own forest—c'mon and put 'em up, put 'em up!
