How Is Nicki Minaj Even Standing In These Shoes For Her 'Only' Video?
If you've been eagerly anticipating Nicki Minaj’s "Only" video, today is your lucky day: her Minajesty just shared a bunch of photos from the shoot on Instagram and, TBH, the only (LOL, get it??) thing I can focus on are those shoes.
OK, from afar they're high—like, very high—but Nicki seems to have no problem in them.
Like, Nicki aptly captioned this "Still standing tall," which...yeah. So tall. Like, you'd fall a long way if you got caught on that uneven cement in front of you, Nicki. Be careful, please!
Once you see them up closer is when you realize just how high they are. Like, how is she even holding her foot up that high off the ground? She is, essentially, levitating. How high are they actually, though?
Well, a quick search shows that Nicki is 5'2" and Drake is 6'0". OK, so with those numbers in mind, please regard the above image. Sure, Drake is leaning in, but...they're about the same height. That means those shoes are eight inches high. E-i-g-h-t inches. How? How.
Well, we'll see these bad boys in action—and, inherently, Nicki's balancing abilities—when the video drops, which Nicki promises is "soon." I'll contemplate their existence until then.
