The crowd of curious fans, including members of Blur, Elastica, Shed Seven and Supergrass, were at London's famous Barfly club in Camden Thursday night when Sean Lennon, the offspring of the late Beatles leaderJohn Lennon, took the stage for his third gig in a fortnight. During his set, the young Lennon ripped through a number of songs off his solo debut Into the Sun, including "Queue" and "Home." Finishing his set with a cover of the Beach Boys classic "God Only Knows," Lennon left the stage to loud applause. One fan, Michele of Leeds said of the performances: "I thought I saw a new God in there tonight." Other fans were not as generous, however. Tim from Newcastle said that it was nothing special and doesn't compare to an Oasis show.
