10 Years After Losing ODB, We Created This Digital Bust To Remember Him

RIP ODB.

On this day in 2004, Ol' Dirty Bastard died at the age of 35 from a drug overdose.

A decade later, ODB still lives on through his music and legacy, forged both with Wu-Tang Clan and on his solo work. And though we haven't heard new rhymes from Dirt in some time, that's about to change, as some of his unheard music is slated to appear on Wu's upcoming album A Better Tomorrow.

To honor the late rapper, MTV's Colin Gray created a digital bust of ODB -- a commemorative piece in the mold of many (non-rap) greats before him.

"For a long while I've had this image in my head, and being that today is the 10 year anniversary of his death, it seemed like the time to do it," Gray said. "Ol' Dirty is one of my favorite MCs ever, so I wanted to pay tribute to him through my art."

Better believe we'll be hanging this one up for years to come.

RIP, ODB.
