YOUR FAVORITE MTV SHOWS ARE ON PARAMOUNT+

'Walking Dead' And 'Game Of Thrones' Fans, It's Time To Get Pumped For 'Wonder Woman'

The rumored 'Wonder Woman' director has 'Guts.'

It sounds like "Wonder Woman" has found its director: Michelle MacLaren. The TV veteran has emerged as the frontrunner to work with Gal Gadot in the "Batman v Superman" actress' first solo outing as Wonder Woman, one of the most iconic superheroes of them all.

"Wonder Woman" would mark MacLaren's feature film debut, but it's far from her first high-profile assignment. MacLaren has been killing it on television in recent years; she's responsible for some of the best episodes of your favorite shows, from "Breaking Bad" to "The Walking Dead" and beyond.

Here are some highlights from MacLaren's past few years of TV directing:

She directed "One Minute," the "Breaking Bad" episode featuring Hank Schrader at his very most badass:

She also directed "Gliding Over All," the "Breaking Bad" season five episode that featured Walter White at his highest Heisenberg heights:

Her final "Breaking Bad" episode was "To'hajilee," which placed Huell Babineaux inside of Hell's waiting room for all of eternity, among other accomplishments:

MacLaren directed "Guts," the second-ever episode of "The Walking Dead," in which Rick and Glenn use a zombie's innards as camouflage:

She also directed "Pretty Much Dead Already," the infamous "Sophia was in the barn the entire time" episode, and arguably one of the only brilliant moments of season two:

MacLaren is also responsible for "A," the season four finale in which Rick bites out another man's throat:

Starting with season three, MacLaren joined the "Game of Thrones" directing roster, debuting with the Brienne-heavy "The Bear and the Maiden Fair":

She directed "Second Sons," featuring the single hottest leech-covered sex scene in human history…

…as well as some horrifying White Walker action, when Sam the Slayer claims his first kill:

MacLaren blew book-reading fans' minds with the ending of "Oathkeeper," which revealed that White Walkers are hoarding children and turning them into ice creatures:

She also directed "First of his Name," featuring a big battle between Jon Snow and renegade members of the Night's Watch:

MacLaren directed one episode of HBO's "The Leftovers," called "Cairo," easily one of the tensest hours of television produced all year:

And most recently, she returned to the world of "Breaking Bad," directing the second episode of the upcoming spinoff series "Better Call Saul":

In other words, MacLaren has chops on chops on chops. She's one of the best directors in town, with range that stretches miles and miles. Whether it's an apocalyptic world filled with undead monsters, a far-away fantasy land with more undead monsters, or a meth empire right here at home, MacLaren can handle it all. She more than deserves her big feature-film break. If this "Wonder Woman" deal goes through, the movie is in very good hands.

"Wonder Woman," starring Gal Gadot and maybe (hopefully) directed by Michelle MacLaren, arrives in 2017.
