Patent Pending channel the iconic, NES classic game “Super Mario Bros.” for their new video, “Hey Mario.”

The John Komar-directed clip, which was shot over the course of eight months, finds the Long Island natives dressed in character as their Mario-themed alter-ego band, Mario and The Brickbreakers. Their mission? To get the 8-bit Italian plumber to stop chasing after Princess Peach -- it's just not going to happen, bro.

“You've got to know this princess isn't worth these extra lives/ Just let her go (go, go) Mario, you're a next level bro, and she's a jump too short when the clock is running low,” sings the band.

Outside of the computer blip sounds, the mushroom sequence and the super cool graphics, it’s the chorus that really hammers it home: “Hey Mario! Get your sh-t together." Good luck getting that out of your head.
