Amy Schumer Quit Alcohol And Then Drove David Letterman To Drink

Ah, the siren song of a good scotch.

Comedian Amy Schumer truly devoted herself to looking amazing for her recent "Late Show with David Letterman" appearance – she went without alcohol for a full week.

"Knowing I was coming here, I was like, 'I'm not gonna drink. I didn't drink for a whole week so I could look my best. And now that I'm here, it just, like, doesn't seem worth it," the "Inside Amy Schumer" creator deadpanned.

Letterman went on to up the ante by breaking his 36-year sobriety to toast the actress' week-long booze sabbatical (winebatical?).

"One day I just said, 'You've had too much fun,' and I quit and I haven't had anything to drink in 36 years," Letterman explained, before pulling out – and chugging – a bottle of J&B Scotch Whisky.

We love Schumer's surprised and delighted facial expression almost as much as her reaction to the whisky-covered talk show host. "I drove Letterman to drink!" she exclaimed, before taking a sip. "This is how guys look when they leave my apartment."
