Eminem is known as a bit of a recluse -- a dude who will choose the house over the club any day. But there are two people he'll definitely come out for: Dr. Dre and Jimmy Iovine.

That's what Em did on Wednesday night. Actually, he did more than just come out -- he came all the way from Detroit to New York to honor the two veteran record execs who helped to launch his career, when they were honored for entrepreneurship at the WSJ Innovator Awards.

“Dre and Jimmy are like a force of nature,” Slim said at one point during his speech. “As an example of how powerful they are, they had me fly here all the way from Detroit to speak publicly, and I really hate public speaking.”

Still got that patented sense of humor.
