'Assassin's Creed' Gets The Parkour Musical You Never Knew You Wanted

Witness your favorite assassins belting out musical numbers!

Today (November 6th) Machinima slathers on some stage make-up, heats up the ol' singing tubes, holsters their hidden blades and prepares you for a musical number the likes which have never been seen before - as the high-flying, face-stabbing, history-retconning series "Assassin's Creed" takes a leap of faith with a musical tour de force to rival Broadway's best.

Popular characters from the franchise including Altair, Ezio, and Aveline - along with series punching-bag-cum-space-messiah, Desmond - all get cameos in the theatrical affair of "Assassin's Creed: The Musical." Featuring three songs composed by Cormac Bluestone and Joel Rubin, and directed by Brendan Bradley, fans can expect a bit of lighthearted crooning about their favorite games.

Additionally, Machinima Prime's Bruce Greene and Eliot Dewberry are accompanied by musical talent including Matt Caplan (Rent, Spiderman Turn Off The Dark), Jonah Platt (HAIR), Ben Palacios (SPANK!), and Jaquita Ta'le (Hip Hop/R&B/Reggae group Nola Darling).

While this is a one time only event, perhaps Ubisoft will do us a solid and put these songs as DLC in their recent "Just Dance" release. We're already working on our sultry and stealthy dance moves in our living rooms.

And don't forget: "Assassin's Creed: Unity" launches November 11th for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
