Sure, the 2014 MTV EMA may be in Glasglow this Sunday, but that isn't stopping us Americans from getting in on the party as well. The recently announced Artist on the Rise category is socially voted, so that means everyone around the world can get their favorite artist to the top.

So who's your favorite Artist on the Rise? 5 Seconds of Summer, Fifth Harmony, Jake Miller, Lucy Hale and Nick Jonas are all up for the award. And all you have to do to vote is use your artist's hashtag.

Here's how:

Beginning today through Sunday, November 9, fans can vote at ema.mtv.com using the following hashtags #vote5sos, #votefifthharmony, #votejakemiller, #votelucyhale, #votenickjonas on Twitter, Instagram and Vine. (Pick your fave, obviously). The winner will be announced during the LIVE telecast in Miami at 7 p.m. ET/PT with co-hosts Jake Miller, Nick Cannon and Molly Tarlov.

Along with hosting, Miller will also perform -- so will Fifth Harmony and Nick Jonas. And after a good old-fashioned American kick-off, the EMAs will go down over in Europe with Nicki Minaj hosting the festivities.
