The rollout for Nicki Minaj's deeply anticipated new album The Pinkprint has included everything from Sir Mix-A-Lot samples to Drake dressed as the Pope.

So it's no surprise that her new sexually charged single "Only" has people wondering if the track's message might have something to do with her rumored split from long-term boyfriend Safaree Samuels.

Was it a subliminal message that Nicki put out such an explicit song so quickly after she is reportedly single again?

According to her ex, definitely not. He tweeted Thursday that he was actually in the studio while the song was being recorded.

So it's old news to him. Nicki remains unbothered though, and took the time tonight to let the Barbz know that the official cover art of The Pinkprint will be coming at the beginning of next week:
