Big Sean Takes The Field With Coach Kanye West On 'IDFWU' Video Set

Go Sean!

Reporting by James Lacsina

Santa Clarita, California -- After just one listen to Big Sean's fiery "IDFWU" single, it's clear that the Finally Famous MC is playing no games -- or is he?

MTV News caught up with Sean, who was all smiles on the song's video set, at College of the Canyons football field in Santa Clarita, California on Sunday night.

Not only is Sean riding high after dropping four new tracks recently, he also had all of his friends hanging with him on the sports-themed set.

Sean played the role of team quarterback, while his "IDFWU" collaborator E-40 suited up as a football commentator. One of the song's producers DJ Mustard filled in as one of Sean's teammates and Kanye West showed of his acting chops by playing the team's coach.

"Obviously football plays a part of it. I'm the star quarterback, one team against another team," Sean told us about the video's concept.

It's an interesting take on a song that centers around a break-up and one that many feel is directed at Sean's ex-girl Naya Rivera. Sean didn't expound on the specifics, but spoke more to the overall relatable nature of the track.

"Everybody got people they don't F with man, people they don't mess with, so as soon as it came out tons of people were relating to it," he said.
