Is Rick Ross Buying The Miami Dolphins?

The would certainly be a boss move.

Rick Ross has long made his hometown pride well-known, and now he's ready to take things to a new level: As part owner of the Miami Dolphins.

"I went and sat down with the Miami Dolphins, we discussed a few things," the rapper told Angie Martinez on Power 105.1. "You know, I've been interested in trying to buy a small percentage of the Dolphins for some time. They finally invited me into the office. I sat with some people. It was a real positive conversation."

He did make one mistake during the meeting, though.

"When we left, they offered me to walk out through the field," he said. "It was sprayed for the game the following day. So I walked out on the field, I didn't know they just sprayed, I was a little excited, and I just dragged my foot through it."

"Don't hold that against me, baby!"

If things were to pan out for Rozay, he'd be the newest addition to an already notable lineup of celebs -- including Fergie, Marc Anthony, Gloria Estefan and Venus and Serena Williams -- who own part of the team.

"I put it on the table, and it was a few things they wanted to ask and discuss, so on and so forth, but it was a positive situation," he said.

A few years back, Ross documented his trip to a Fins game -- which brought him onto the field and lead to meeting legendary quarterback Dan Marino and Wayne Huizenga, who owns 5% of the team. You can watch the clip below.
