The Concert For Valor Will Bring Eminem, Rihanna And More To D.C. To Honor Veterans

You can head to the nation's capital or watch live on TV.

If you missed Eminem and Rihanna on their brief Monster Tour earlier this year, all hope isn't lost. You can catch the powerhouse stars -- along with a number of other big names in music -- at The Concert for Valor on the National Mall in Washington D.C. on November 11.

In addition to Em and Ri, the star-studded event, which takes place on Veteran's Day and honors veterans and their families, will also feature music from Dave Grohl, Metallica, Carrie Underwood and Zac Brown Band, plus appearances by Jamie Foxx, John Oliver, Meryl Streep, Steven Spielberg and the event's co-producer, Tom Hanks, who co-produced the event, according to the event's official site.

"The Concert for Valor will provide a national stage for ensuring that veterans and their families know that their fellow Americans’ gratitude is genuine," a statement on the site says. "Millions of people, including veterans, active duty service members, their families and Americans from all walks of life are expected to watch the free concert in person or on television, with the goal of raising awareness for veterans service organizations dedicated to education, wellness, reemployment and reintegration."

The concert is set to start at 7 p.m. and will be broadcast live on HBO.
