Kylie Minogue's New Experimental EP Will Soothe Your Broken Heart

Dance your way through the pain.

Kylie Minogue has been an international pop star for so long that it's hard to remember a time before her cover of "The Loco-Motion" existed. I mean, that song is basically an institution at this point.

Which is why it's so impressive that even after she released her twelfth studio album this year, Kiss Me Once, she's still experimenting with totally off-the-wall influences—and that is exactly what her new four song EP is.

It's a collaborative effort with producer Fernando Garibay, who has also worked with Lady Gaga, and it veers much farther into the corners of the pop world than say, her new Sia-penned single "Sexercize" that fits in well with the mainstream.

Perhaps in an effort to emphasize this shift, Kylie has dubbed the EP Kylie + Garibay. It rolls through sweeping dance beats, reggae and pop-rock with one common theme: heartbreak. It seems like every day another celeb couple is calling it quits, so whether you're in mourning over Wiz and Amber's dissolution or your own dying dream of love, Kylie is here for you.

Three of the songs appear in the short film "Sleepwalker" that opens her Kiss Me Once tour. But you can also download any of the songs for free via her Soundcloud.
