August Alsina Fell Off The Stage After Collapsing During His New York Show

The singer was halfway through his show before tumbling into the audience.

"No Love" singer August Alsina was about halfway through a performance at Irving Plaza in New York on Monday night when, according to reports, he suddenly collapsed and was taken from the venue, ending the show.

In a video of the incident, Alsina appears to be singing near the edge of the stage before either collapsing, or falling off the edge into the the photo pit and being attended to by venue security guards.

In another clip from a higher vantage point, uploaded by WorldstarHipHop, Alsina, 22, is performing and seems to be stumbling a bit before his knees buckle and he falls off the stage.

Witnesses told TMZ that Alsina appeared to faint and be out cold when security guards approached him and then moved him backstage. Paramedics were reportedly spotted entering the venue to treat the "Ghetto" singer, who was taken out on a stretcher but was said to be alert enough to wave to fans as he exited.

The incident happened just hours after Alsina debuted the video for his "No Love (Remix)" featuring Nicki Minaj.

A spokesperson for Alsina could not be reached for comment at press time and the singer had not provided any updates on his social media feeds as of Tuesday (September 16) morning. Alsina's next tour date is a gig at Bogart's in Cincinnati, Ohio, on Tuesday night. It was unknown at press time if he would make the date, which was still listed on the Bogart's website.
