15 Fictional Restaurants We Wish Were Real

TV and movie eateries that need to pull a "Bubba Gump" and exist, already.

With "Forrest Gump" back in theaters this week and Central Perk opening up in New York City soon, we can't stop thinking about these 15 television and movie restaurants that need to pull a Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. and just become real, already.

1. JJ's Diner, "Parks and Recreation"

NBC

JJsDinerWaitress

Proven to have the best waffles in existence. Not afraid to serve a heavy dose of whipped cream. We're sold.

2. Mos Eisley Cantina, "Star Wars"

LucasFilm

MEC

The music is great, the clientele is colorful and there are absolutely no droids.

3. The Alamo Freeze, "Friday Night Lights"

NBC

maxresdefault

The Alamo Freeze tends to hire very attractive football players, so. A real-life version of this should definitely happen.

4. The Inn At The Crossroads, "Game of Thrones"

HBO

9879978_orig

Sure, the menu is a bare-bones and the clientele can be a bit unsavory, but Hot Pie's scones are worth the risk of getting stabbed over a chicken. Also, medieval decor is hella in right now.

5. Good Burger, "Good Burger"

Nickelodeon

The burgers may only be good, but the customer service is impeccable -- and at least they don't add Triampathol to their food, like Mondo Burger.

6. Los Pollos Hermanos, "Breaking Bad"

AMC

3x06_-_Sunset_16

If Gus Fring runs Los Pollos Hermanos even a tenth as well as he runs his criminal empire, it would be worth a trip. Also, fried chicken is just generally great.

7. Jack Rabbit Slims, "Pulp Fiction"

Miramax

pulpfiction00022

The food is simple Americana throwback stuff, but the waiters are dressed like Hollywood icons and the dance contests are frequented by mobsters.

8. Fat Ammy's American Style Restaurant, "Arrested Development"

Fox

3x02_For_British_Eyes_Only_(42)

If there's one thing Orange County, California needs, it's an American-style restaurant in a British-themed neighborhood.

9. The Green Dragon, "Lord of the Rings"

New Line Cinema

the-green-dragon

The people are small, but the beers are huge -- also, dancing and signing tend to happen, and they serve enormous blocks of bread and cheese. We are so, so down.

10. Chotchkies, "Office Space"

20th Century Fox

officespace_fakingit

Yeahhhhhh, we're kind of in the mood for another T.G.I. Friday's type of deal, but we'd rather have a bit more flare and some super-friendly service? Do you think we could head to a REAL Chotchkies, maybe on Saturday?

11. Gusteau's, "Ratatouille"

Pixar

gusteau_featured

Like you HAVEN'T thought about sampling food made by a rat.

12. The Gold Room, "The Shining"

Warner Bros.

tumblr_lzddjh9iFs1qi4nyc

The roaring '20s vibe and decor is simply gorgeous, though the caretaker is a little strange.

13. The Peach Pit, "90210"

Fox

peachpit

They have the sickest burgers in town, a retro California vibe, and a kickass waitress named Laverne who sings sometimes.

14. Paddy's Pub, "It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia"

FX

Paddys-Pub-s-Always-Sunny-Philadelphia

Well it's not really a restaurant, per se, but the beer is cheap and the company is cheaper. Also, the bartenders and owners never pay attention to the customers' needs, so you could probably drink for free and bring your own food and they'd never even notice.

15. Dorsia, "American Psycho"

Lionsgate

dorsia

(But only if we could score a reservation.)
