Need To Know: Lena Dunham Thinks That People Who Called Her Ugly Were 'Commemorating Joan Rivers'
With additional reporting by Janelle Myers
This Girl Knows How To Turn Things Around
Lena Dunham took 'ugly' comments about her on Twitter on Thursday as people paying homage to legendary comedian Joan Rivers, which is totally cool with her. The late comedian made not-so-nice comments about the "Girls" star's weight in an interview with Howard Stern back in March, but Dunham has a sense of humor about it. Also keeping her word about making a "killer zing" the day that Rivers died, Lena tweeted "a piece of her lives on: her nose, because it's made of polyurethane."
Rivers' Funeral Requests
Rivers passed away on Thursday, but somehow she still has me laughing with the funeral requests she outlined for daughter Melissa in her 2013 book I Hate Everyone…Starting with Me. In addition to wearing a Valentino gown, her hilarious demands included Meryl Streep crying in five different accents and "a wind machine so that even in the casket [her] hair is blowing just like Beyonce’s.” R.I.P. Joan.
Her Life Just Got Rosier
Scarlett Johansson and her fiance Romain Dauriac welcomed a baby girl who they named Rose.
