Whenever Drake remixes an up-and-coming artist's song -- and it's something he's been known to do -- it provides the newbie with a unique boost. But it seems like Drizzy has taken the investment a step further with his latest remix recipient.

Following his remix of ILOVEMAKONNEN's "Club Going Up On A Tuesday," it looks like Aubrey has signed the buzzing California native to his OVO Sound imprint.

The track, shortened to simply "Tuesday," was made available for purchase on iTunes over the weekend, with label credits to both OVO Sound and Warner Bros., which is the distributor of the rapper's imprint.

Last month, Makonnen told MTV News that he got pretty emotional when he heard Drizzy's "Tuesday" remix, so we can only imagine how he's feeling now. “There were tears of joy and tears of hard f--king work,” he said of how he felt once he heard the track. “‘Cause goddamn, that Monday was a bitch!”

The 25-year-old has also been rocking plenty of OVO gear over the last couple days, including in this picture, which he captioned, "OVO Makonnen tell me where ya going."
