Ed Sheeran And Game Already Recorded Most Of Their Joint Album

More than six tracks in the bank.

We know that Ed Sheeran can kick a rhyme when he needs to, but who would've expected him to team up with a rapper for a joint album? The British singer, who dropped his X album back in June, has a project with Game on the way, and it sounds like they've already got most of the material banked.

"I'm a big fan [of Game]," Ed Sheeran told MTV News on the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards red carpet. "He called me and I ended up doing just one song with him and the next day he came down to the session that I was in and we did about six songs."

"Then we just did more and more as that week went on, and then it was all done."

No word on when, exactly, the album will arrive, but don't expect to hear Ed spitting any verses on this one. "I do it now and then but I can't rap with a professional rapper, it'd be weird," he said.

Sure, but learning to booty clap for an upcoming video is totally normal.
