While we're not totally sure she woke up in a bejeweled leotard the morning of the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards, there's no doubt that Beyonce was ***flawless in her performance on at the show on August 24.

The recipient of this year's Video Vanguard Award, Bey sang and danced her way through a medley of songs from her most recent album, backed by a squadron of dancers and her own enormous legacy. When she wrapped up the mini concert, before we even had a chance to pick our jaws up off the floor, she was joined onstage by husband Jay Z and daughter Blue Ivy. Queen Bey's family presented her with the statue for the special award, bringing Bey -- and all of us, just admit it -- to tears.
