Season five of "The Vampire Diaries" ended with Damon (Ian Somerhalder) being sucked into posthumous nothingness while a shocked Elena (Nina Dobrev) lost both her boyfriend and her entire town, so we're feeling like it's a litttttle bit unfair for Damon's ghost to be asking her to move on so quickly. Still, we get why Stefan (Paul Wesley) is a little concerned, given the fact that Elena seems to be sniffing Damon's old clothes in this brand new season six promo.

"Damon’s gone," a worried Stefan tells her. "You need to say goodbye, too."

From the looks of things, that might not happen anytime soon -- instead, it would appear that Elena flies off the rails a bit and starts biting people. We can't wait!
