That Was Quick: Lil Wayne And Drake Perform 'Grindin'' Just Hours After Its Release

Grind time.

Darien Center, New York -- We don't have an exact release date but Tha Carter V season is definitely upon us. On Friday Lil Wayne and Drake launched their Drake Vs Lil Wayne Tour in New York and just hours before that they debuted their new single "Grindin'."

The track was still fresh by the time Weezy and Drizzy took the stage at the Darien Lake Performance Arts Center just before 9 p.m. yesterday, but that didn't stop the YMCMB boys from performing the track for the very first time.

Niether Wayne nor Drake missed a single bar. "I'm grindin', I'm grindin', I'm grindin' I promise/ I f--k until I get tired, retire and come out retirement," Tune spit to set it off.

Drizzy closed the song out with his verse where he vows to turn over a new leaf. "I got a new vision for all my sh--/ I don't know what to call that sh--/ I'm sellin' all of my cars, I'm selling' all of my watches, I'm selling' diamonds and all that sh--," he rhymed.

The crowd was still largely unfamiliar, but that didn't stop the duo from delivering the song with expert timing. Looks like this one will be here to stay. Watch the video of them performing the track below via Rap Radar.
