Things Got Weird On The 'Avengers' Set Between Takes

Even superheroes get bored.

When you're watching a movie as fantastical as the ones from Marvel Studios, it can be easy to forget that those films started as a bunch of actors working with a crew on a set somewhere.

Speaking with Elizabeth Olsen at San Diego Comic-Con, the actress playing Scarlet Witch in "Avengers: Age of Ultron" shared what it was like to hang out with Captain America, Thor and the rest of the team, when everyone was bored between takes.

"There's something really funny about what happens between takes, when we're doing a big battle sequence or something, because you'll have Captain America kind of twirling his shield and maybe doing a tap dance," Olsen said. "Then you have Thor over there getting more sweat put on him and in his hair. You'll have Jeremy constantly zipping on and off. It's just the in between takes things. You'll be like, 'We look ridiculous.'"

"Avengers: Age of Ultron" opens in theaters on May 1.
