7 Celebrity Weddings We Wish We Got Invites For In 2014
It seems like every weekend there is another celebrity wedding, and guess how many we've been invited to. None.
There have been all different types of weddings that have gone down this year -- from destination, to secret weddings, to over-the-top weddings and star-studded affairs. We've reported on them all, and each time felt a little pang of jealousy that we couldn't partake in the fun.
So here is a look at some of the weddings of 2014 that somehow we weren't invited to, but let's be honest, our invitation totally just got lost in the mail.
1. Kim Kardashian and Kanye West
When: May 24, 2014
Where: Paris, France, and Florence, Italy
Why We Wish We Were Invited: Who wouldn't have wanted to be invited to this wedding? Kimye had an ultra lavish affair, with a rehearsal dinner at the Palace of Versailles, a private jet to Florence, the ceremony in a fort and entertainment provided by Andrea Bocelli and John Legend. I mean, doesn't everyone have that for their wedding?
2. Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo
When: July 19, 2014
Where: Cabo San Lucas, Mexico
Why We Wish We Were Invited: The Sexiest Man Alive marrying a Victoria Secret model on a beach in Mexico...it really doesn't get much hotter than this. In front of 100 guests, the couple tied the knot as Jonah Hill officiated the ceremony bringing the laughs, while Fleetwood Mac's Stevie Nicks brought the music, serenading the couple during the reception.
3. Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson
When: July 5, 2014
Where: Santa Barbara, California
Why We Wish We Were Invited: I've never been to a $1 million wedding, probably never will, but I can live vicariously through Jessica Simpson's pictures. Since Jessica is basically a billionaire, girl can definitely afford to go all out for her nuptials, and that's exactly what she did. The wedding looked like it was taken from a movie, which it kind of was since it was based on the 1998 film, "Great Expectations." With string lights, rustic floral arrangements, metallic gold wedding cake and place settings that were pieced together from old tea sets, it seemed pretty much perfect.
4. Kelly Rowland and Tim Witherspoon
When: May 9, 2014
Where: Costa Rica
Why We Wish We Were Invited: It was a gathering of the Destiny's Child divas! Kelly got secretly hitched during a private ceremony in Costa Rica back in May and reportedly Beyoncé and Michelle Williams were in attendance. I can totally picture the girls having a DC sing-off, busting out "Survivor" and "Independent Woman" for the wedding guests. It probably didn't happen, but hey, a girl can dream.
5. Dave Coulier and Melissa Bring
When: July 2, 2014
Where: Montana
Why We Wish We Were Invited: Three words: "Full House" reunion. If you were at this wedding in Montana then you got the priveledge of hanging out with Jessie, Danny and Joey, plus DJ and Kimmy Gibbler. "Cut it out" because this is basically a childhood dream come true.
6. Jamie Lynn Spears and James Watson
When: March 14, 2014
Where: New Orleans, Louisiana
Why We Wish We Were Invited: Britney Spears was in attendance. Enough said.
7. Kaley Cuoco and Ryan Sweeting
When: December 31, 2013
Where: California
Why We Wish We Were Invited: The "Big Bang Theory" actress tied the knot with Ryan Sweeting just six months after their first date, but still managed to find the time to plan an all-out stunning affair. Instead of the traditional white gown, Kaley opted for a pink Vera Wang dress and they had an upside-down chandelier wedding cake, which looked almost too good to eat...almost.
