Kate Nash has a new song and music video, and it's all her own. The British singer-songwriter not only wrote and recorded "She Rules" herself, but she edited its video on iMovie. Clearly, the girl gang needs no fancy treatments.

"She is the one that I can count on/ She will be what I need to function/ She'll make it happen/ Yeah, she makes sh-- happen," Nash sings in a lazy, matter-of-fact voice before launching into the chorus: "She rules/ And I need her."

The DIY vibe triumphs in the vid, as Kate and her friends and family dance it up in their bedrooms, backyards and at the beach. So, bust out your sunnies, dye your hair an unnatural color (throw it up in a high-pony or cut your bangs), slip on something floral and make a move. That's all you need to do.
