Last night, legendary soul singer Bobby Womack died at the age of 70. As his peers learned of the news, many musicians took to Twitter to express their condolences and honor Womack's rich legacy.
Aside from Rick Ross, who had been working with Womack on new music, plenty other members of the hip-hop, R&B and pop communities shared how they were inspired by his music.
Chuck D shared the link to a documentary about Womack that he was involved in from last year, "Across 110th Street."
