The Most Famous 'Game Of Thrones' Missing Character Has Been Found

No direction home, like a rowing stone.

Somewhere in the midst of all the action on "Game of Thrones" this season, we completely forgot to wonder what the heck ever happened to Gendry.

Yeah, Gendry! Remember him? Strapping young bastard of Robert Baratheon, personal dreamboat for Arya Stark, spared from Melisandre's nefarious plans for blood-of-a-king-sucking leech sex play by the heroic Davos Seaworth?

The last time we saw him, he was making an unlikely escape from Chez Stannis in an itty-bitty rowboat, thanks to the heroic intervention of the Onion Knight. But that was back in Season 3! And this year, when "Game of Thrones" returned, there wasn't so much as a glimpse of Gendry, nor even the tiniest clue as to his fate.

Fortunately, actor Joe Dempsie — who plays Gendry on the show, and therefore probably knows better than most what's going on with his character — turned up on Twitter with an answer to this burning, burning question.

Still rowin'...#GoT

And there you have it: Gendry, in addition to being the last living issue of Robert Baratheon, is also the slowest rower in Westeros.
